We first met, professionally, during the summer of 2016 when Kaci was costume designing for A.J.'s theatre company's summer camp. We reconnected in the winter of 2016 when Kaci once again costumed a show for A.J., this time at Lusher, where he teaches. Sparks flew the first day Kaci complemented A.J.'s outfit while working backstage. Never fashioning (pun intended) himself a man of great style, to receive such praise from a fashion expert like Kaci meant that this woman was truly something special. From there, their love grew, like an untended costume shop laundry pile. And soon their hearts were stitched together, stronger than an industrial-strength serger.
