FAQs

Question

How will you handle COVID-19 at the wedding?

Answer

We want to acknowledge that you must set your own boundaries and risk considerations surrounding covid. We also want to set some safety measures into place. We would love for everyone to get tested before the wedding, particularly if you are not vaccinated. If you are unwilling to get vaccinated OR to take a test the day of or before the wedding, we ask that you please stay home. Both AJ and Judith have close family members who are immunocompromised, and it is important to us to protect them as much as possible. We acknowledge that everyone can make their own choices regarding their health and their bodies, but ask that you please respect our safety boundaries.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

In an attempt to keep our guest list manageable, and to celebrate with people that we know and love, we are not giving anyone a plus-one. If you have a serious partner, that partner will be included on your invitation. We hope you can understand this decision!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your children, but our reception venue is not very child-friendly. We do not have any children on the guest list. We hope you can enjoy a night off! However, we understand the need for our out-of-town guests to bring very young children, particularly those still nursing. If you are coming in from out of town and need an accommodation, please reach out to Judith or AJ. Finally, the Sunday Brunch IS child friendly-- and there is a pool!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

You can see our registry on this website! However, we have been living together for four years, and have many of the things we need already. For this reason, we have a limited registry. Alongside a more traditional registry, we have provided some options to gift money toward a home downpayment, or our honeymoon.

Question

How do we RSVP?

Answer

Right here on the website! Under the RSVP tab, you will be prompted to respond separately for the ceremony, the reception, and Sunday Brunch. You are welcome at one, two, or all three events. Please RSVP by May 1st. Of note, there will be outdoor options at both the ceremony and brunch, but not the reception.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No. The ceremony is about a 15 minute drive from the hotel blocks, but the reception venue is about one mile from the hotel blocks. If you do not have a car, Uber and Lyft can be great options!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire is appropriate for the ceremony and reception.

Question

What's up with Brunch?

Answer

On Sunday Morning, we will offer an open house brunch for any guests who want to attend. This will be a low-key event, so feel free to stop by at any time (or not!). We ask for an RSVP to ensure we have the correct amount of bagels and other goodies.
