Both born and raised 45 minutes outside the city of Chicago (one in Illinois, one in Indiana). Chris moved to Cincinnati to attend University of Cincinnati, and decided to stay even after graduation. 4 years later, after AJ's graduation she moved to Cincinnati to live with her older sister.

Chris and AJ met on the dating app Hinge. After 3 months of living in Cincinnati, AJ thought it would be fun to get out there and meet some new people (mainly she wanted to have a "Hot Girl Summer" and get free drinks). Chris decided he was also ready to put himself out there to meet someone new. Chris was AJ's third Hinge date, and AJ was Chris' first. After that, the rest is history...
