Things To Do

Welcome to the ADKs! The Adirondack Park spans over six million acres and is home to the largest protected natural area in the lower 48! It is by comparison as large as Yellowstone, Yosemite, the Everglades, Great Smoky National Park, and the Grand Canyon collectively. It is nearly three times the size of Yellowstone National Park! (fun facts to counteract the fact that NY doesn’t have a National Park…Ohio does.)

There are three established trails here you can choose from, totaling 3-miles in length and containing two scenic viewpoints. There is a dock for boats, and kayaks and canoes are welcome on the shore as well! http://www.lglc.org/preserves/last-great-shoreline/ The 46 Adirondack High Peaks (More of a FULL day hike ;) ) https://www.adirondack.net/hiking/high-peaks/
