Aja & Ethan met in the most romantic place on earth, Mount Royal University Recreation, Go Cougars! Through passing looks and timid chats, the Lifeguard and Camp Councillor crossed paths. From then on, we became each other’s best friends. After weeks of being “too scared” to talk to one another, Ethan finally built up the courage to tap the Lifeguard on the shoulder and say, “Well, the water sure does look cold today!” To Aja’s surprise, she blurted out what every girl says to a guy they have a huge crush on… “Welp… It’s your job to get in the water!” Sparks. As weeks passed, we were both strategically finding ways to overlap our schedules. Timid glances continued, and nervous excitement was building. Some would say we were playing the long game; we were just trying our best to flirt. After working hours, we finally got the chance to talk to each other and quickly became inseparable. Although there was one boundary in the way, our bosses noticed we could not stop talking on the job. We got creative by talking telepathically and through sign language. 7 years is hard to sum up, but just know we are abundantly happy and proud of the opportunity to grow side-by-side. Years spent celebrating many milestones, cherishing our family, building lifelong friendships and supporting each other endlessly. With pride, Ethan finally got down on one knee and asked Aja to be his wife. 8 years have led to the greatest celebration yet! For those who know our story, we kept it pretty brief, but we are truly honoured to have experienced parts of the excitement with you. We are now getting married. Let’s celebrate and have a night to remember! E&A The Bromley’s
