FAQs

Question

Will there be alcohol at the wedding?

Answer

No, so you will be safe to drive home after.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Springtime Semi-Formal. Women: Please wear a nice dress, long or short, or nice slacks and a blouse. We would love to see our guests in pastels or florals! Men: Please wear a suit or nice slacks, a button-up shirt, a coat, and a tie/ bowtie. Please do not wear denim.

Question

Can I bring my small children to the wedding?

Answer

Unless your children are specifically listed on the invitation or on the RSVP web page, please do not bring your children along with you. We love children, but we have only made room for children in the wedding party or the children of family members traveling from out of state.

Question

By what date should I RSVP?

Answer

RSVP as soon as you can! Please have your final RSVP in by April 1st. If you are unsure, please go ahead and RSVP according to what you are most likely to do. You may change your response up until April 1st, but of course, we hope you will be there!

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

Please pray that it won’t rain! We would love to get married on a beautiful sunny day! If it does rain, the ceremony will be moved into the Lodge, where the reception will also be held. Close family will be seated in rows of chairs, while other guests will sit at their assigned dinner tables.

Question

Why don’t I have a plus one?

Answer

We only made room for plus ones for individuals we know are seriously dating, engaged, or married. We also gave plus ones to individuals who may not know many other people at the wedding. If you didn’t get a plus one, rest assured, you will know plenty of people there to have a good time!
