Kona Kai Resort is located on Shelter Island and less than 5 miles away from San Diego International Airport (SAN).  There are many hotel options on Shelter Island and the surrounding area. See our recommendations below, which includes a room block at the wedding venue.

We recommend rideshare (i.e. Lyft & Uber) whenever possible, because parking anywhere in San Diego is...not fun.
