We serve a God of the impossible. Two years ago, I had given up on finding romantic love. My future wife, on the other hand, was praying and trusting daily that God would bring her into the arms of a man who served the Lord. Though, she did not know he would live 12 thousand miles away. I was wandering through the hardest period of loss in my life and praying that God would send me someone to walk this life with. We joined a dating site with little expectations but big hopes. We started chatting and quickly we both knew something was different. Aiva was beautiful, but what attracted me to her most was her faith and her kindness. I was goofy looking, but she fell in love with me anyway. The journey to starting our lives together was full of challenges, but with each day we were more convinced it would all be worth it in the end. More convinced it was God's will. More convinced that this was a love that would last our lifetimes. Despite the immense distance between us, complications with travel, cultural differences, and major medical emergencies in both of our families, God's grace saw us through and brought us together from two different worlds. The moment we walked into our home together holding hands, we knew we were standing in the gracious answer to ten thousand prayers.
