This is our favorite place to cool down in the summer. The river is spring-fed and stays 72 degrees all year. We like to float in tubes, swim, and paddle board here. The water is pretty clear so you can see lots of fish as well.

Dripping Springs is nearby and has lots to do, but this is our favorite spot! This is just one of many distilleries to try in Dripping.

Wimberley

Wimberley, TX

Wimberley has water, shopping, and wine tasting. It is a fun day trip to explore, and a quick scenic drive from Buda.

Adam's favorite childhood birthday party location. The location is pretty and the sauce is great. Big tourist attraction and the pit is cool to see! This is close to Buda, but if you are up for a small drive and do not need an Instagram picture, then go to Lockhart for your bbq.
