Our wedding plans are uniquely our own! We will be hosting a "Send Off Party" on September 6, 2025, and we're inviting our closest family and friends to join us for a celebratory evening. After the party, our parents will accompany us as we travel to Bradenton Beach, Florida, where we will exchange our vows at sunset on Sunday, October 12, 2025. Following the wedding, we will be continuing our travels to the Florida Keys for a mini-moon to enjoy our time as newlyweds.

Josh proposed on Mackinac Island in front of the scenic view of The Arch overlooking Lake Huron on May 26, 2024. Little to my knowledge he was traveling with the ring he was going to propose to me with gently resting inside his sweatshirt pocket. A daring move as we biked alongside the coastline! When we arrived to The Arch we stopped to take it all in. In this moment, I was completely at peace as I gazed at the the beautiful work of art that nature had created while listening to the sound of Lake Huron's waves crashing onto the shore. It was so serene that I closed my eyes and breathed in the fresh water air. As we began to look for a stone to take home as a keepsake, Josh had called my name. When I turned around he was down on one knee with the ring in his hand. Josh asked me if I would be his forever bestfriend and marry him... A flash of our 12 year history and our journey to this exact moment washed over me. I began to grin from ear to ear and giggle out of surprise. I was so caught off guard that I had even tried to get down on one knee myself, in which Josh took my hand and had me remain on my feet as he proposed. I said yes to marrying my best friend, of course! Josh then placed the ring on my finger and we shared the news with our families.
