Things To Do
Pike Place Market
Pike Place is a must-see for first time visitors. Home to the first Starbucks, a farmer's market with lots of local vendors, and great places to eat, it is a busy tourist spot. We recommend hitting up the Ellenos Yogurt stand or Storyville Coffee for some of our favorites.
Space Needle
One of Seattle's most known landmarks. Be sure to check out the rotating glass floor when high above the city!
Gas Works Park
Gas Works is a great park with an amazing view of the city overlooking Lake Union. You can watch seaplanes landing and soak up some rare Seattle sunshine on the grass.
Fremont Brewing's Urban Beer Garden
A casual brewery in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle for some local beers and ciders. Outdoor seating and only a few doors down from Aislinn's favorite cider spot, Schilling Cider.
El Camino
One of our favorite restaurants in the Fremont neighborhood. Be sure to try their Tres Leches and shrimp burritos! Just a few doors down you can also check out Redstar and Triangle Bar.
Rachel's Ginger Beer - Pike Place Market
If you're looking for a non-alcoholic treat, try Rachel's Ginger Beer. There is a location just next to Pike Place Market, as well as the University Village. (You can still get it mixed with alcohol if you want!)
Starbucks Reserve Roastery
This a unique Starbucks location with only a few throughout the world! You can get some unique Starbucks coffee creations, including cocktails as well as breakfast or lunch meals and treats.
Discovery Park
Located within Seattle limits, this park is full of easy hiking trails and great views of the Sound!
Whale Watching Tour!
Whale watching is an easy, amazing opportunity here in Edmonds! This is an experienced company who knows their business! They will take you up and down the Puget Sound in search of orcas, humpback whales, and more. Make sure to reserve spots well ahead of time as it is a holiday weekend. A great family-friendly excursion about 20 minutes from our venue!
Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery
One of the numerous wineries in Woodinville. We recommend having a tasting outside to enjoy the greenery and beautiful external of the chateau. We also love JM Cellars and Columbia Winery nearby.
Woodinville Whiskey Co.
If you're looking for something besides wine, try this whiskey distillery. Matt always keeps a bottle of their rye whiskey in the house. They also sell a great maple syrup aged in whiskey barrels!
T-Mobile Park
For any baseball fans, you can catch The Seattle Mariners play the Chicago White Sox on the 5th, 6th, or 7th of September. Could be a great excuse to stay few days after the wedding!
