What’s the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be semi-formal. Think summer suits, cocktail dresses, or something stylish yet comfortable for the Spanish sun. No need for tuxedos or ballgowns—unless that’s your style! Ladies, please note the venue is outdoors, so stilettos may not be the best option for the grass.

Will transport be provided to the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! We’ve got you covered. Coaches will be arranged to take all guests to and from our secret wedding venue from Calpe. Our Head of Logistics (Ronan!) will make sure no one is left behind (hopefully)

Is the ceremony unplugged?

Answer

Yes, please! We kindly ask that phones are switched off and no photos or videos are taken during the ceremony. Our photographer will capture everything, so just sit back and soak it all in.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Your invite will specify exactly who is invited. If a plus one is included, they’ll be named. We wish we could bring everyone, but we’ve kept numbers tight to keep things intimate.

Is the wedding adults-only?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony and celebration are for guests aged 18 and over, with the exception of our seven wonderful little nieces and nephews. We hope this gives everyone a chance to unwind, let their hair down, and enjoy a well-earned night off. If you're planning on making it a family holiday, everyone is welcome to join in the celebrations on day two, give us a heads up for numbers!

What airports should I look at flying into?

Answer

Alicante (ALC) is the most straightforward, but Valencia (VLC) is also an option. Both are about 1–1.5 hours from Calpe. More travel tips are in the 'Travel' section of our site.

What’s the weather going to be like?

Answer

Expect sunshine! Temperatures in early July range from 25–42°C, so bring suncream, sunglasses, and breathable clothes.

Are there other events around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! There will be welcome drinks the night before, and a relaxed day after celebration the next day at Dorée Gin & Sea. More details are on our Schedule page.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend staying in Calpe. We’ll share hotel suggestions, including family-friendly and great-value options, plus a few boutique picks. Everything is walkable or a short taxi away.

What if I have dietary requirements?

No problem at all. Let us know when you RSVP, and we’ll make sure you’re well looked after.

Who do I contact if I need help on the day?

Our amazing wedding planner Marcella will be on-site, along with a few familiar faces from the wedding party. We’ll also share contact numbers closer to the date.

Loads! From beaches and wine bars to castles and coastal hikes.

How will I get home after the wedding?

Answer

Coaches will run back to Calpe after the party winds down, we will have coaches run at a couple of select times. If you want to head back earlier, we’ll also provide reliable taxi numbers and apps.
