Maid of Honor
Julia and I were two of the handful of female finance majors at our school (Franciscan University). We met sophomore/junior year and we bonded over our perfectionist approach to everything (while we ate ice cream and watched Hallmark movies). We took on class projects together and now we work at the same company as consultants. She has always been my little taste of Texas and now Dan and I are going to be getting married in her hometown of Sugar Land. Julia once drove me to the airport in a snowstorm (her first time driving in snow) so I could visit Dan in California. She has inspired some of my biggest dreams, supported me in my relationship with Dan through every stage, and encouraged me every step of the way in our friendship. I'm so grateful to have her by my side on this special day!
Best Man
I've known Josh since I was 4 or 5, I can’t remember how. We've been close ever since, sharing a love for all sports, specifically hockey. We would play for hours at outdoor rinks. Throughout every stage of my life, Josh has been my close friend, even when I was away in Ontario and California studying, we never drifted apart. I can always rely on him for sound advice, a listening ear, and good times whenever I come home. On Courtney’s first trip to Canada one month into dating I knew I wanted her to meet Josh. We had dinner and did an escape room and had so much fun, it felt like all of us had known each other for years. Now we make a point of having dinner with him whenever we visit. Josh is an incredible man, a true friend and I’m proud to have him stand at my side on this day!
