As most of you know, Rebecca and Curtis gained legal guardianship of me when I was 17 years old. Camryn, has been the sister I never wanted at first, but always needed. Now she is the sister I couldn't manage without, and the holder of some of my fondest memories. She has taught me how to embrace every silly moment life has to offer, how important they are, and helped me to become a better person. As we have gotten older, we have only grown closer, and she has become my best friend, confidant, shoulder to cry on, ear to complain to, and I cannot imagine doing this day without her by my side.

I was very shy growing up and I didn’t have many friends. But, I always knew that when I went home, I’d have Luke there waiting for me. From playing with toys, to hide and seek, playing gameboy late at night together (when our parents thought we were sleeping) to binge watching Breaking Bad, we’ve done it all. He’s my brother by blood and the best man in my life to be my best man.

We met in the Army in 2016, and our souls knew each other from day one. Our friendship has always been more spiritual than in person, because we live pretty far away from each other, but that has never mattered. Sue is someone who inspires me, and someone I know I can always count on for a laugh or in a time of need.

My baby brother. To me, he’ll always be Simba. I was five when he was born so I got to enjoy watching him grow up to be the crazy guy he is today. I knew he’d be the one to be the Godfather to my daughter and I couldn't do this without him.

We have been family by choice since we were in grade school, and no matter how far we are apart (she is from Hawaii), I know I have a lifelong friend in her, who would be there the second I needed her. She is the person I can be wild with, and holds some of my dearest memories like getting drunk on the beach with a 5 year old bottle of wine when we were 16... Mama Shirlee knows don't worry (Sorry Andy).

Through every up and down in life, we’ve always been there for one another. He’s the first one I’d call if I was ever in a bad spot. If I were ever in need of hiding a body, he wouldn’t even ask who it is - he’d simply reply by saying “I’ll bring the shovel.” If I could only pick one person to go to battle with, he’d be my wingman before all else. He’s the older brother I never had and I’m happy to have him a part of this crazy adventure.

Janelle stole my heart the day I met her with her pure and sweet demeanor. She is one of the biggest sweethearts I have ever met, and I instantly felt like I had a life long friend. Janelle is Jeromes cousin, and friend since childhood as well. Although I have only known Janelle for a short few years, it only feels right to have her beside us.

The brother from another mother. We could write a book just based off our inside jokes. There’s never a conversation where we don’t laugh because everything is hilarious to us. Even after he moved to Arkansas, the distance never killed the brotherhood we’ve formed. Don’t tell him I wrote this though or he’ll laugh at me.

Kelsey and Kristen are two women who share a special place in our hearts. They are both long time friends to Jerome, and have felt like family since the day I met them as well. Kelsey has a free spirit, with a laugh that makes you happier just by hearing it, and Kristen has felt like an older sister, quietly there for us should we need her, while continuously sending love from behind the scenes. Kelsey and Kristen are sisters to Kevin, who would have been a top contender for Best Man, but passed away unexpectedly in 2018. Kevin was one of Jeromes best friends, and we wanted to honor him, by having his sisters stand next to us on our special day.

Pete and I met in high school and hit it off immediately based on our love for movies and video games. Our inner nerds just jammed together. We went to college together, worked out together, gamed together, had one too many drinks together... more than once. I’ve never had a friend more willing to jump into anything and everything with me, and today wouldn't be perfect without him standing next to me.

Jackie and I have been friends since sophomore year of high school, and through so much together. She is the definition of a true friend, that is there no matter what. She keeps me grounded, logical, and I couldn't imagine not having her by my side on this day.

Sal and I are currently working together on patrol in Boston. When we’re on duty together, I can always rely on him to have my back in the many dangerous scenarios we’re put in. Outside of work, we’re always rambling on about Star Wars, video games, and our wild children with each other. He’s the teammate that I can always count on through every ordeal.

We have grown our relationship so much since my brother first brought her home and I couldn't be happier or prouder to call her my sister now. She has helped me better myself, been an amazing Auntie to Scarlett, and tamed my brother, which none of us knew was possible. Her no BS spirit and contagious laugh make her essential to our day.

Wisdom and I started off by working together as armored truck drivers. We spent many long days on our long drives together watching each other’s backs, sharing our life stories, helping each other with everything we needed and much more. The friendship we created over the years is special, but not nearly as special as his perfect cooking skills.

To me Morgan is one of those people that just falls in your lap and you have two options (because you know she's going to be around despite what you choose) - love them to death or despise their existence. While we may have started off more on the despising side, she has grown to be a life long friend and person I can turn to when no one else wants to hear me complain, or when I need a laugh (or 20). She is the best kind of crazy there is, and our day would be seriously lacking fun without her.

CJ is Kayla's brother, and the wise ass of the family. There is not a time or place where CJ isn't making jokes, and making people laugh. There is never a dull moment with him, but at the same time he is always there if you need him for something more serious. He has been a constant in our lives, and we truly cannot imagine this day without him next to us, and we apologize in advance to anyone who he may offend...
