FAQs

Question

Are you moving forward with wedding planning in light of COVID-19?

Answer

Your health is a priority to us, as we know that COVID-19 is still very much present in our communities. While we have decided to move forward with our wedding plans, we are taking precautions to ensure your safety and comfort throughout the weekend. Please see below for how we are doing that.

Question

Do you recommend COVID testing prior to the weekend?

Answer

While it is not required, we recommend all guests be tested for COVID-19 prior to coming to our wedding. CVS is offering free self-swabs at select drive-thru locations (https://www.cvs.com/minuteclinic/covid-19-testing), or you can call your local health department for information on rapid testing locations near you. We also ask that you do your part in wearing a mask and social distancing prior to the wedding week (and all the time!) so that everyone is safe and comfortable!

Question

What if I don't feel well prior to the wedding weekend?

Answer

If you have any of the following symptoms, we kindly ask that you stay home and take care of yourself rather than attend our wedding: Fever, cough, chills, body aches, congestion, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, headache, new loss of taste or smell, or fatigue.

Question

How is the venue keeping guests safe?

Answer

14TENN will be emailing all guests the current COVID-19 policies for the venue and a waiver to sign electronically, which can also be signed at the door when arriving. They will also be taking temperatures at the door. Masks are required when entering and social distancing will be encouraged. Hand sanitizer and masks will be provided. Ben and I are only asking you all to do as much as you are comfortable with, we will be happy to socialize with you all and dance the night away! 14TENN is requiring all vendors to fill out a Screening Questionnaire and to wear appropriate PPE (masks and gloves if serving food). All buffets, food, and beverage stations/bar will be attended and guests will be served by staff (no self-serving). Venue staff will be wiping down high-touch surfaces every 45 minutes (door handles, sink faucets, etc.).

Question

Are Ben and Allison extremely grateful for all of their guests?

Answer

YES! These are difficult and unprecedented times we are all facing, and while weddings don't quite look like they used to, Ben and I are so grateful for all of y'alls support and understanding throughout this process! We hope that you feel comfortable coming to Nashville to celebrate with us and feel free to reach out to us with any questions! We can't wait to share this special day with you all!

Question

Why is there a gap in between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Being a Catholic Mass ceremony, the church requires an early ceremony time so that they can have their regularly scheduled Mass in the late afternoon. During the gap, guests can head back to their hotel to freshen up or head over to the many restaurants and breweries near the reception venue to grab a drink before the reception starts at 4pm! Head over to our “Things to Do” page for suggestions!

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Both the church and the reception venue have plenty of free parking! If you do not wish to drive, Uber and Lyft is a great way to get around Nashville!
