How's the planning going?

It's going well! We're trying not to get too hung up on details. We want this to be the funnest day ever! As long as we say "I do" & have a drink afterwards, we're golden! Anything further is icing on the cake!

Your invitation only lists a ceremony location. No reception?! What gives?

Answer

Sorry about that! Everything will take place in the same venue. Ceremony at 4:30, Cocktail hour from 5-6, reception from 6-10.

I thought Tom's girlfriend's name was Jae. Who is this Janice person?!

Answer

It started in high school. Tom's girlfriends' friends started calling her J. She got creative, & started introducing herself as "Jae". It stuck. She works with people that have NO IDEA that her real name is Janice. She will answer to either name!

Blame it on my HS friends! They started calling me "J". I got creative & started introducing myself as "Jae". It stuck. I will always respond to Jan or Janice. Grandma Frieda would occasionally call me Carol, & I answered to that, too! RIP Grahm!

I mean, we've waited TEN YEARS for this! Can you NOT wear jeans & sneakers? Thanks!

We're still trying to get the hang of this wedding website thing. All of our registries should be linked thru Zola, but if not, you can check Amazon & Bed, Bath, & Beyond.

We love food! You can't go wrong with restaurant gift cards! Tom grills a lot, so gift cards to Omaha Steaks are always appreciated! We also love to do things together! Gift cards to Top Golf, or Escape Rooms are fun, too!

There's nothing left on your registry. What now?

Answer

Ugh. We're struggling with this! Wedding registries are typically for young couples just starting out. We're old, & have been together for a decade! We really just want you to come celebrate with us! But if you insist, see the question below for more ideas.

Is it wrong to give alcohol as a gift?

Answer

Not even a little bit! Because Janice works for a company that owns 2 liquor stores, our tastes have evolved quite a bit!
