Better together

From a couple of kids at an eighth grade school mixer dance to a family of four all these years later. Most know their story, as they are so grateful to have been on this journey with not only each other, but their village of family and friends! For those that haven't heard their story, the two started as friends of friends. It wasn’t long until they became best friends during Myra's freshman and Jesse's sophomore year of high school. The pair got off the bus and spent every day after school together. Hanging around Caleb's (an ice cream shop), the Yuba River, and the local park. Helping each other through life, relationships and- the most dreadful - high school. Things got interesting once a mutual friend suggested Jesse take Myra to his Junior Prom. It seemed everyone at this point knew what the two didn't want to admit! They started the night as friends dancing the night away, but they left thinking heavily over their newfound feelings for each other! It was only two days later that they would share their first kiss under the stars. In their last ten years together the couple has shared countless moments and milestones. As we celebrate in this story of life and love, the newly engaged look forward to beginning their journey of becoming husband and wife with all their family and friends.
