Our Story
We first met in 2023 at a Barnes & Noble in Houston, Texas. Aishu was on a mission to find the perfect book to reignite her love for reading, and Surya was searching for his next Lego set to build. From that very first interaction, it was clear there was something easy and genuine between us.
What started as a simple meeting in a bookstore turned into a love grounded in friendship and patience. From that day in 2023 to now, our relationship has been full of meaningful conversations, shared laughter, and steady growth.
Now, as we begin this next chapter together, we’re excited to celebrate our love by bringing together our families, cultures, and the people who mean the most to us. We’re so grateful for your love and support as we build our future together, piece by piece. We can’t wait to celebrate with you.
We love exploring new restaurants around Houston, and this beachside spot in Galveston did not disappoint. One of the highlights? A giant, pizza-sized pretzel that was almost too good to share!
From Avatar and Star Wars symphonies to candlelight concerts, music has always been part of our story. This trombone-focused performance in an opera house was especially memorable.
We took a day-trip to San Antonio on a friend's personal plane. Not only did this experience excite the aviation nerd in Aishu, but it was also both of our first visits to the Alamo!
Who says there’s no winter in Houston? We bundled up for a 10°F ice palace date, where everything, including the penguins, were carved out of ice.
