The bride to be LOVES to shop and this epic outlet mall is very close by. They even have a Shake Shack!
Bear Mountain State Park
Great place to hike, there is also a small zoo. Scenery of the Hudson Valley is spectacular.
Storm King Sculpture Garden
If the weather is nice this is on the same road as the venue and is a really cool place to check out.
Dia
This museum is located in the ever so adorable town of Beacon. Spend some time at the Dia Museum and then go walk down main street. Awesome restaurants and local shops.
Newburgh Vintage Emporium
If you love antiques or anything vintage you MUST check this place out. The groom and bride to be have spent hours scouring this place finding all sorts of things for our new home.
Orange County Choppers
I've never been but I know this put Newburgh on the map. :).
Washington's Headquarters State Historic Site
I didn't appreciate this place as a kid but now knowing there is so much history that began in the Hudson Valley it's a cool place to check out.
West Point
So much to do and see. Museums and beautiful views of the Hudson Valley. The windy roads always get the bride but some of our best family pictures have been taken on our way to West Point.
New Paltz
New Paltz is north of New Windsor and it a very cute college town which is home to the Mohonk Hotel and has a very adorable main street with local stores and restaurants. It's a college town and the nature is spectacular. Lake Minnewaska State Park is close by and has amazing hiking trails.
