TIPS FOR FLIGHTS TO SANTORINI

FLIGHTS 1️⃣ Flights: the big ticket item Because Santorini is remote (no direct flights from the U.S.), flights will likely be your largest cost. Here’s how to minimize them: 🧡Book early, but monitor prices 
International tickets often fluctuate: start watching fares 9–12 months ahead. Set alerts (with Google Flights, Skyscanner, etc.).
 If you catch a price drop, many airlines allow free or low-cost changes (depending on fare rules). 🧡Consider alternate arrival airports (e.g. flying into Athens, Mykonos, or another Greek hub) and then using local transport (ferry or domestic flight) to Santorini.
 Sometimes booking two separate legs (e.g. Miami → Athens, then Athens → Santorini) yields a lower total than “through” tickets. 🧡 Use nearby airports / multi-city routing
Check departing from Fort Lauderdale (FLL) or even other U.S. gateways if connections are better.
 On the return, see if you can leave from a different Greek city or European hub where fares are cheaper. 🧡Use airline alliances, miles, or credit card points
. If you have loyalty points or travel-credit cards, use them to partially or wholly cover long-haul legs.

DAY 1 — Ancient Wonders + Sunset Magic 🏛 Morning: The Acropolis Start early (8:00–9:00 AM) at the Acropolis of Athens.
