As long as the weather cooperates, the Ceremony will be held outside; the cocktail hour and the Reception will be held both inside and outside. In the event of rain, the ceremony can be moved inside of the barn. We are praying for a beautiful afternoon/evening!
We kindly ask guests to arrive 20–30 minutes before our ceremony start time of 4:00 PM. We’d love for everyone to be seated and ready by the time the celebration begins. If you’re taking the shuttle, no worries—the schedule is arranged so you’ll arrive on time.
If you stay at the Hampton Inn Shrewsbury, we’ve arranged a shuttle to take guests to and from the wedding venue. You can book a room through our wedding block—details are in the Travel section of our website. If you're not staying at the hotel, please plan ahead for a safe ride home. We want everyone to enjoy the night and get home safely!
We kindly ask our guests to dress in semi-formal attire. Think of it as a step up from casual—dresses, dressy separates, suits, or slacks with a button-up and tie. No need for tuxedos or formal gowns—just something stylish and polished to celebrate the occasion! *Ladies: Please keep in mind that the wedding will take place on a farm, and we’re planning for an outdoor ceremony. We recommend choosing shoes that are comfortable and stable on grass or uneven ground—we’d hate for anyone to risk a twisted ankle or a broken heel!
We’re keeping our guest list intimate, so plus-ones are only included where specified on the invitation. If your RSVP included a plus-one, then yes! Otherwise, we hope you’ll still join us solo—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
We love your kids—we really do! But for this special evening, we’re hoping for a more grown-up celebration. Unless your invitation says otherwise, we kindly ask that you make it a night out just for the adults. Think of it as a mini getaway—dancing, drinks, and no bedtime routines!
