We are looking forward to celebrating with you!

Matt and I met in high school as freshmen. Matt used to walk me home from school everyday and then head home himself. We would talk about everything on these walks, what we wanted to do after high school, dirt bikes, his passion for building things in woodshop and my love of French class, (He used to tease me about this and still does..). One day Matt asked my mom if it was okay if he could ask to be my boyfriend and she said yes, I was over the moon because I was not allowed to date. We dated through most of our high school careers, and Matt supported me when I went through foster care. The summer going into our senior year we decided it was best to take a break and see other people, we both had only been with each other so we were ready for something new. After high school Noah was born and I was on my own as a mother, Matt and I kept in touch but nothing serious until Noah was about 8 months old. Matt then asked me out to dinner and I went, we had a great time and we remember what we loved about one another, We had been seeing each other for a little while and then he met Noah. We dated for a few years, I moved into his parents house with him and we began apartment hunting. Matt always said once we had our own place he would ask me to marry him, now me being impatient I didn't believe that to be true. I always pestered him and said that it wasn't going to happen. Well January 2020 we found our little apartment and February 14th, 2020 Matt asked me to marry him at the first place I got to accompany him at with his club, Uncle Tom's Cabin. We have had to face a pandemic in the wake of planning our wedding and had to postpone, but here we are preparing to celebrate with all of you!
