Travel

Below, you can find some of our recommended hotels and travel options for the weekend. If you feel these options are out of budget, there is no pressure to stay at any one hotel for the wedding - we are just happy to have you with us! New Haven is a transit-accessible city, so there are many ways to come celebrate.

Hotel

Omni New Haven Hotel at Yale

155 Temple St, New Haven, CT 06510
 203-772-6664

This hotel is downtown, with a great view of the city from the rooftop restaurant. It is in a bustling area in the middle of everything New Haven has to offer, and is about 8 minutes by car or 15 minutes on foot from the ceremony.

Hotel

The Blake Hotel

9 High Street, New Haven, CT 06510

This hotel is downtown, with large rooms that have kitchenettes. Manuel and Ainsley will be staying here, along with most of the wedding party! It is about 8 minutes by car or 15 minutes on foot from the ceremony.

Hotel

The Study at Yale

1157 Chapel Street, New Haven, CT 06510
 203-503-3900

This hotel is very academic, very close to campus (and some of our favorite bars), and has a great coffee shop right next door. It is about 8 minutes by car or 15 minutes on foot from the ceremony.

Hotel

Hotel Marcel New Haven, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

500 Sargent Drive, New Haven, CT 06511

Located right off of I-95, this hotel is sustainable, all-electric, and very cute. This building is a famous brutalist architectural work, and is also right next to an Ikea. It is about 10 minutes by car from the ceremony (not walkable!).

Train

Metro North

Anyone coming from in or around NYC, as well as those flying into JFK or LGA, should look into the Metro North. Trains run frequently and stop at both Union Station (the main train station) and State Street.

Train

Amtrak Northeast Regional

This Amtrak runs from Boston to DC. Trains run less frequently but are faster, and typically only stop at Union Station (the main train station) when they pass through New Haven.
