Our RSVP deadline has passed! If you failed to RSVP (or reach us or our families), please reach out to James & Aine directly if you would still like to join us. Otherwise, it is assumed you can't make it. We'll miss you!
We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting semi-formal, garden party attire. Ladies - lean toward separates or a dress in a fun color, pattern, or silhouette rather than a formal gown. Gents - wear a suit, but not a tie unless you really want to. You can find some visuals under the 'Dress Code' tab on this site for inspiration. Please keep in mind that you will be walking on grass, so choose your footwear accordingly. If you have any further questions around attire, please reach out to us directly.
Yes! The recommended hotels are listed in the 'Travel' tab of this site. Although the room block codes are now out of date, you can still book at the hotel to catch the shuttles. We recommend checking in the day before the wedding, as early check in on the day of is not guaranteed.
Yes! All hotels listed on our site will have shuttles running to and from the venue. If you are staying at one of the hotels in which we have booked a room block, please utilize them. The Holiday Inn shuttle picks up at 2:45 and the Comfort Inn shuttle picks up at 3pm and 4pm.
As our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all in the same place, we are fortunate to eliminate transportation time in our day-of schedule! However, it does present some necessary guidelines for arrival that will be enforced. Guests are encouraged to arrive between 2:45pm and 3:20pm in order to maintain the schedule of the day. If you are utilizing one of the provided shuttle services, the departure schedules will be made available here once they are established. There will be light refreshments and entertainment to keep you busy until the ceremony begins. Once the arrival time window has passed, please wait to arrive until after 4pm, when the ceremony has concluded and the cocktail hour has begun. There will be individuals present who will be responsible for enforcing this timing to ensure no interruptions of the nuptials are made.
Yes, but it is very, very minimal. Ride shares are few and far between in Nassau, where the venue is located. We very highly encourage carpooling and utilizing the shuttles to and from your hotel. If you are local to the area, we have arranged transportation to and from 137 Front Street in Schenectady, where you can park and leave your vehicle. You MUST arrive by 1:15pm in order to catch the bus to the venue. The shuttle will return you to this address at the end of the night.
We are only able to accommodate the guests formally invited to our wedding. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.
If they were explicitly listed on your invitation, then yes they are! If not, take advantage of this opportunity for a parents' night out.
You can provide any dietary restrictions or requests with your RSVP response online.
