Our forever starts here...

Sara and Aimee met through a mutual friend in 2017 and their relationship quickly blossomed into something more than both of them could imagine. Sara lived in Ohio, Aimee lived in Maryland. Their weekends were spent traveling 181 miles to each other until Sara decided to call Maryland her new home in 2018. On August 10, 2019, Sara proposed to Aimee in Geneva, Ohio surrounded by their closest friends and what felt like a thousand other spectators. A scavenger hunt led up to the proposal where Sara sent Aimee to places that were important in their relationship- ending with Geneva. Geneva is the spot where Sara knew Aimee was the one. It will forever hold a special place in their hearts. Instead of traveling between Ohio and Maryland every weekend, they turned their dreams of traveling the world into reality. They have visited surrounding states (West Virginia and Pennsylvania) along with Colorado, North Carolina, Florida, Chicago, St. Thomas, Dominican Republic, Grand Turks, and Puerto Rico. They have conquered quite a few firsts together. They have walked along the ocean floor with oxygen helmets, took their first cruise, hung 1000 feet over the city of Chicago, took a hot air balloon ride over Ravenna, and spent a day hanging onto the fins of dolphins! Sara even learned all about Old Bay seasoning! (She is truly a Marylander now). They will try anything once! They have overcome many obstacles together over the last 4.5 years which has solidified the strength in their relationship. They are looking forward to many more adventures, including expanding their family (outside of their 4 fur babies) as they bind their lives together and become the Stanislaws! (Even though Aimee will forever try to get Sara to take the Slider last name!)
