Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Matthew Wolfe and Aimee Shocket
If you are staying a while and need some recommendations on things to do, here are some of our favorite places in the area.

Montaña de Oro State Park

3550 Pecho Valley Road, Los Osos, CA 93402

Gorgeous views of the ocean and sea-cliffs. Spooner's Cove is a favorite spot of ours and the only dog friendly area in the park.

The Elfin Forest

16th Street, Baywood-Los Osos, CA 93402

Stroll along a wooden boardwalk through 90-acres of preserved space filled with pygmy oaks, prehistoric sand dunes, rare plants and birds, and fantastic views of the bay and surrounding marshlands.

Morro Rock Beach

Coleman Drive, Morro Bay, CA 93442

Visit the iconic Morro Rock! This is great place to view sea otters (be sure to get there early) or take a stroll on the beach and feel the sand beneath your feet.

The Garden Gallery

680 Embarcadero, Morro Bay, CA 93442

Fantastic shop for exotic plants, succulents, and home decor. Matty's grandparents absolutely loved this spot and we definitely recommend popping in.

Dorn's Breakers Cafe

801 Market Avenue, Morro Bay, CA 93442

Incredible food, cocktails, and views of the bay + Morro Rock. We go here every chance we get.

The Hidden Kitchen

113 North Ocean Avenue, Cayucos, CA 93430

Blue corn waffles and tacos on a patio overlooking the ocean. The entire menu is gluten free and the smoothies are to die for. Need we say more?

Bayside Cafe

10 State Park Road, Morro Bay, CA 93442

Great spot for lunch located inside Morro Bay State Park. You can also rent kayaks here and venture out into the Bay if you're feeling adventurous; be sure to make the trek out to the sand spit, it's 100% worth the paddle.

Harmony Cellars

3255 Harmony Valley Road, Harmony, CA 93435

Their chardonnay is our favorite!
