Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! The ceremony and part of the reception will take place outdoors. The venue has outdoor heaters if the weather necessitates.

Question

What's the weather like?

Answer

June 5th Update: Expect thunderstorms and temps in the mid to high 60s. They say if you don't like the weather in Colorado, wait 15 minutes... And it's true - spring in Colorado can be unpredictable. Expect warm, sunny weather in the 70s throughout the day, with the ever-looming chance of a rolling, afternoon thunderstorm. Luckily those tend to roll out as quickly as they roll in. Temperatures can cool down to the 50's in the evening and at night, so you may want to bring a light jacket.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Please note this will be an adults-only celebration.

Question

Is altitude sickness legit?

Answer

Yes! Welcome to the Mile High City :) Not everyone experiences altitude sickness, and Denver sits at a low enough altitude that symptoms are usually mild. However, if you are traveling from out-of-state please be aware that altitude sickness can affect even the healthiest of people.

Question

How do I avoid altitude sickness?

Answer

We want you happy, healthy, and headache-free on our wedding day! The best way to combat any onset of altitude sickness is to: 1. Drink tons of water! Like, waaaay more than you think you should. 2. Monitor your alcohol intake! The booze will absolutely hit you harder here, so ease into the drinking. 3. Eat a lot of pizza (carbs) and bananas (foods high in potassium), and chug Pedialyte (electrolytes). 4. Don't try to climb Pike's Peak as soon as you land. The air is thinner and the effects of exercise are more intense here.

Question

Will transportation be provided to and from the wedding?

Answer

A shuttle will be provided to take guests to and from the venue. The shuttle departs from the Hilton Denver Inverness Hotel. Please check the Travel section for more details.

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

There is complimentary valet at the venue if you'd prefer to drive.

Question

What are the meal options?

Answer

Beef: Filet Mignon served with Garlic and Herb Mashed Potatoes, Grilled Jumbo Asparagus, and a Cabernet Demi-Glace. Chicken: Charred Shallot, Boursin Cheese and Spinach Stuffed Chicken served with Garlic and Herb Mashed Potatoes, Broccolini, and Roasted Red Pepper Cream. Veggie: Vegetable Wellington with Marinated Zucchini, Yellow Squash, Portobello Mushroom and Tomato Wrapped in Puff Pastry with Israeli CousCous, served with Marinara.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

You bet. Please bring your ID as the venue reserves the right to card anyone ordering a drink.
