Where is the wedding taking place?Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at The Birmingham Community House in downtown Birmingham, Michigan.

Are hotel accommodations available?Are hotel accommodations available?

Answer

Yes! We’ve reserved room blocks at two hotels: The Townsend Hotel – Located in downtown Birmingham, just a short walk from the venue. Deluxe King or Double: $309/night Suite: $409/night To reserve, call the hotel and mention our wedding or book online using the link on our Travel page. The Somerset Inn – Located in Troy, approximately a 16-minute drive from the venue. Standard Room: $139/night Deluxe Room: $169/night Reservations can be made easily online using the link on our Travel page. We recommend booking early, as availability is limited at both locations.

Answer

Yes! Complimentary shuttle service will be provided from both The Townsend Hotel and The Somerset Inn to and from The Birmingham Community House on the day of the wedding. Complimentary Valet will also be provided at the venue for those that are driving.

Answer

Yes, complimentary valet parking will be available at The Birmingham Community House for guests who choose to drive.

What is the dress code?What is the dress code?

Answer

The wedding is black tie optional. Formal attire is encouraged, but a tuxedo is not required. Guests may wear dark suits, long gowns, tea-length dresses, or elegant jumpsuits. For those who wish to coordinate with the wedding aesthetic, a suggested romantic color palette is shared on the Attire card in our invitation, though this is completely optional.

The cocktail hour and ceremony will take place outdoors under a tent, while the reception will take place indoors at The Birmingham Community House.
