Until Death Do Us Part

Daniel and Aimee met while attending the University of Northern Colorado. Brought together by the most wonderful group of friends. They spent three years fostering a beautiful friendship full of laughter and adventure exploring all the wonders of Colorado. In 2018 Aimee moved to Florida for one semester to live out her dream of interning with the Walt Disney Company. Upon her return to school in January 2019 Daniel and Aimee became inseparable. Later that March Daniel got a hankering to go camping (and in Colorado that typically means there will be snow). There were no takers to join his planned adventure to go camping in the mountains as there were predictions of a major snow storm to come. However this did not change Daniels mind about taking his camping trip and Aimee decided to join him so he wouldn’t be alone camping and stuck in the snow. They drove up Mount Evans to find a good site to camp for the week. Half way up the mountain the snow began to fall so much it would not be safe to turn back. Luckily they came upon a family owned cabin site and luckily the owner was there prepping for the storm. Knowing it was not safe to camp outdoors in these conditions the owner let them stay for the week and offered them their own cabin. For four days Daniel and Aimee stayed snowed in at the cabin and enjoying fantastic views, late night fire talks and each other’s company. This begins their love story as by the time the roads cleared and it was time to head home Daniel and Aimee started dating. Two years later they got engaged in Denver on New Year’s Eve on the roof top of the restaurant El Five in another snow storm.
