Andy and Aimee met at work through a Finance Development Program. Andy was preparing to attend a program conference in Texas and someone suggested asking Aimee for help in planning his travel. A few weeks later, Andy met Aimee for the first time. He went to introduce himself just as Aimee was about to start a job interview. Needless to say, it made for a quirky and awkward first meeting. While their first moments with each other may have been rushed and awkward, now they are ready to enjoy every awkward moment life has in store for their future.

Andy proposed to Aimee on the beach at Disney's Polynesian Resort. Andy started taking a video and asked Aimee to recap their first day of vacation. If you know Aimee, you know how much she likes to talk, so the perfect plan ensued. As Aimee was recapping the day, Andy mentioned that it was an almost perfect day, but that there was one more thing that could make it perfect. Andy fumbled taking out the ring and opening the box. As he was doing so, Aimee kept saying over and over, "Is this real?! Is this real?!". It was real and there's a video to prove it! Ask Aimee to see it! ;)
