We aren't poets. Our brains work best in simple, chronological steps. Since Ireland is famous for its' potatoes, and we first met making potato chips—it only felt right to describe our love story like a potato’s growing cycle. After all, ours has always been about steady growth, strong roots, and becoming true relation-chip goals.
Seed Potato (Meeting at Work): We started as two simple spuds on the chip line, planted in the same row.
Sprouting (Dating): With a little sunshine and water, our first shoots appeared—Boba, googly eyes, hot-air balloons, laughter.
Rooting (Moving In): Our roots dug deeper as we shared a home, building a life on Livermore soil.
Flowering (Love Growing): Bright blooms marked the joy of our everyday—inside jokes, delicious meals, and putt putt.
Harvest (Becoming Parents): Our greatest crop arrived! Our little potato, our Kai.
Replanting (Marriage): Now we’re ready to plant the next season together, saying “I do” and growing love for a lifetime.
