Their story began in 2012 during their college days at De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde, where they first crossed paths through Ailyn’s cousin. They went out twice with a group of friends but they never really spoke to each other. Fast forward to 2019, the same cousin tried to play cupid once more, encouraging Arnie to get to know Ailyn. But still, nothing really came of it. At the time, it just wasn’t meant to be... yet. Then in 2021, during the pandemic, everything shifted. A simple message turned into daily conversations, and slowly, they started to build something real. They never expected to end up together—Arnie lived in the North, Ailyn in the South. They thought it wouldn’t work. It wasn’t easy. There were doubts, long drives, missed weekends—but despite it all, they always found their way back to each other. By 2022, they became a couple. In 2025, they got engaged. And in 2026, they’re finally getting married! Looking back, they realize the signs had always been there—That every delay, every detour, every almost—was leading them toward each other. They believe they are soulmates, brought together by God’s perfect timing. And now, they can’t wait to begin forever—together. ♡
