If the invisible string theory is real, ours must’ve been tangled, double-knotted, and dragging us around for years before we finally paid attention. We grew up crossing paths everywhere — school events, dances, parties, mutual friend groups, even family connections (his aunt literally lived right in front of my house… so yeah, there was no escaping this one). Our siblings knew each other, went to school together, and somehow we still managed to stay in the “we didn’t know of each other” phase for years. At that point, the universe wasn’t even being subtle anymore — it was basically screaming. Fast forward to Instagram: the invisible string finally pulled. He followed me, I followed back, and we did the classic “like each other’s stories but act normal” routine. Eventually he broke first and texted me saying he thought I was pretty and I said, “what are we doing… tag back and forth finally u texted” We went out in 2023… and that was it. No confusion, no slow buildup — just instant connection like the string finally snapped into place. From two people who kept missing each other on accident (apparently), to weekend dates every week, to falling in love for real, We finally went out in 2023 — and that was it. No games, no confusion, just instant connection. From two nervous people figuring it out, to weekend dates every single week, to best friends, to now fiancés, and godparents, and almost husband and wife. Turns out the invisible string theory wasn’t wrong… it just took its time doing the absolute most.
