What should I wear?

The dress code is Cocktail Attire, which is a balance between elegant and comfortable. No jeans please! However, feel free to dress up. It's a wedding, after all!

Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

Since we both come from a Filipino background and got engaged in Hawaii, we are aiming for a tropical theme. Feel free to get creative as long as you keep it within the dress code. Keep it sexy! Keep in mind that the bridal party will be wearing a shade of seafoam green. Please try to avoid wearing this color, along with shades of white, cream, or ivory.

What will the weather be like? Is the celebration indoors or outdoors?

Answer

On average, the weather in Moorpark, California around July ranges from the low 60s°F to low 80s°F. Keep in mind that both the ceremony and the reception will be held outdoors. Although it will most likely be sunny & warm early on, it may be a good idea to bring something to keep warm for the evening. Additionally, the ceremony will be on the lawn, so choose your footwear accordingly.

What kind of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

Hors d'oeuvres will be served during cocktail hour followed by a buffet dinner during the reception. The hors d'oeuvres will include pescatarian options and a vegetarian option (upon request). The buffet will include a selection of meat, vegetarian dishes, gluten-free dishes, and salad.

Will there be an open bar?

We will have a hosted full open bar from the start of cocktail hour until 10:30 PM. Please keep in mind that our venue does not allow shots on the premises.

Are kids welcome?

Although we adore the little ones, our celebration will be an adults-only event. Due to limited venue space, we were only able to make very few exceptions (such as the wedding party members) to make room for our favorite adults. Please make arrangements ahead of time, and we thank you for your understanding.

Again, we have a strict guest list in order to stay on budget and stay under venue capacity. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

During the ceremony, we would love for it to be "unplugged." Our photographers and videographers will have plenty of content for all of us to enjoy afterwards. However, after the ceremony, go wild!
