It all started when I walked into a cheesecake shop my senior year of high school to find another after school job. When I met the owner Jen for my interview I would have never believed you if you told me that in two and a half years she would become my mother in law. Within a week of meeting at work Gabe and I had a trip to Top Golf planned, and within a month of meeting we were best friends. Spring turned to summer and we spent every waking moment together both in and out work; late night In-n-Out runs, finding new swim spots, going on day trips all over Oregon, and even exploring a few caves together. Our friends and family around us all knew we were crazy for each other despite our constant insisting that we were "just friends", often received with an eye roll from those around us. Finally, as summer came to an end Gabe took the hint and asked me to be his girlfriend ;) Eight months later on a snowboard trip that I thought was for his birthday, Gabe got down on one knee and proposed at my favorite place, the mountain. The last year or so since has been a whirlwind of working, traveling, enjoying adventures together, and preparing for life ahead. Looking forward to the future we are so excited to start life together- wherever that may take us and are so excited to celebrate this new beginning with those we love.
