FAQs

The Wedding Website of Ailey Childs and Justin Porter
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

After receiving your formal invitation, we ask that you RSVP as soon as possible so we can organize with our vendors. However, the deadline is May 1st, 2026.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that you dress in garden party formal attire. For women, we suggest a longer colorful dress or skirt. Bridesmaids will be in various shades of blue. Please refrain from wearing white dresses or dresses with a significant amount of white. We will be in a garden and recommend block heels. For men we suggest suits or dress pants with a collared shirt and jacket. Please note most of the event will take place outside so bring your sunglasses!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate invited guests. If you receive a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our wedding will be exclusively for adults with the exception of our family members who are part of the wedding ceremony and babes in arms. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is there parking available on site?

Answer

Yes, there is one on-site lot and a city lot right outside the venue. We recommend using Uber or Lyft if you plan on enjoying the open bar.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you put your cameras and phones away until the ceremony concludes. Please feel free to take as many photos as you would like during cocktail hour and the reception!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00PM. We recommend arriving 15-30 minutes early to enjoy the gardens and find a seat. The venue will open at 4:30 for guests.
