We met online, through one of the numerous dating websites available. Our first date was at Fox and Hound, a bar/pool hall. We planned to play pool, get to know each other, and have a few drinks. We both didn't plan on the date lasting more than a few hours. Instead, we talked all night and into the early morning hours. We didn't even play pool (although we went back and made up for it later!) We clicked and within weeks, we had moved from "dating" to "in a relationship." He was working out of town and we built our relationship on late night phone calls that lasted hours, humor, and a mutual enjoyment in nerdy things. Within 6 months, we both knew we loved each other and wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. It was almost another year and a half before we got engaged, and during that time, we built our family and our home. Throughout our relationship, we've grown closer and closer. We've learned communication is key and that we're both stubborn as hell. We are enjoying our journey and thank you for being a part of it!
