What will the weather be like?

Mid-September in Midway is generally sunny during the day then cools down at night. The average daily high temperatures around 74°F and average lows of 47°F.

What should I wear?

Answer

During the day, it'll be nice & sunny so something light. Evenings will be cooler so bring a warm sweater or jacket. Don't forget a bathing suit for the pool & crater! The Saturday welcome party is party attire! Something fun and festive but not too fancy like a casual dress or your favorite party shirt! The Sunday ceremony & reception is cocktail attire. No ties required.

Will the wedding day events be inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony & cocktail hour will be outside in direct sunlight (but likely won't be too hot). Dinner will be under a tent with heaters available if needed. Dancing will take place inside with access to the patio for a breather.

Will Pasta (the dog) be there?

Answer

Yes! Pasta will be at the ceremony and he can't wait to see you!

Anything else I need to know?

Answer

Yes! We will be at ~5,653 ft elevation (about 600 ft lower than Tahoe City). Be sure to wear sunscreen & hydrate if coming from sea level.
