Our story began at La Sierra University in the band room of Hole Memorial Auditorium. It was in between compositions that an unlikely friendship had formed between us. Thanks to the help of a mutual friend, our interest in each other grew over time. Neither of us would have ever thought the clarinet would find us a partner for life. Three years later we're getting married!

Our first date was at the Hollywood Bowl watching Gustavo Dudamel conduct the Los Angeles Philharmonic. It seems fitting that our first date was a symphony orchestra since it is music that brought us together. Fun fact: Rachel actually chaperoned this date!

Yosemite and camping are two of our favorite things. While taking pictures in the beautiful Yosemite meadow with El Capitan looming in the background, Isaac got down on one knee and proposed! Shoutout to Will and Liz for being our amazing photographers. Fun fact: Isaac dropped the ring but we were able to find it in the grass!
