Some traditions will take place at the bride’s family home (please refer to https://maps.app.goo.gl/YCGbxSkXFPETL5vw7 for directions) on the day of the church ceremony before the ceremony takes place. The preparation of the bride and the "shaving of the groom" will be accompanied by a traditional live Greek band. Guests can arrive any time between 2 pm and 5 pm. The bride and groom, and any early-arriving guests, will walk to the church for the ceremony, which is about a 15-minute walk (another tradition). Guests are not required to follow these traditions, and they can arrive directly at the church for the ceremony at 6 pm. Please refer to the map for directions to the church where the wedding ceremony will be taking place. If needed, please message either me (Katerina Gkogkou) or Joseph (Joseph Paul) on Facebook Messenger for directions on how to reach us.
