Our wedding will be a Formal affair which is Black-Tie Optional: Note: This dress code is slightly less formal than a black-tie wedding. So, a tuxedo isn't required, but can still be worn if preferred. If opting for a suit, however, a formal suit, white shirt, and a tie are acceptable. For Ladies, the outfit choices remain the same: a floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit. There isn't much of a difference between black-tie and black-tie optional, although black-tie optional is more acceptable to wear a dress that shows the ankles (which is not true of a black-tie dress code).
Both the Ceremony and the Reception will be held in the USA Post Office Building located in Downtown Dallas at 400 N Ervay Dallas Tx 75201.
Ceremony 4 PM Reception to follow
* UPDATE 10/12/23* Unfortunately, Valet Parking will not be available. We will send out instructions on several parking garages surrounding the venue which will be easy to get to.
Of course, we can’t guarantee anything, but we hope there is no rain the the forecast that day since our wedding will be outdoors. However, there is a rain plan in place in case of inclement weather. Our guest do not need to worry about anything besides an umbrella for your own protection when traveling from their vehicle to the venue.
Weather permitting, both the Ceremony and the Reception will be outdoors.
After the ceremony, the immediate family of the couple will be taking photos on the rooftop for around 15 minutes. Guests will be guided by an usher to the cocktail hour area where hors devours and cocktails will be flowing. Dinner will be served around 6 pm, with dancing to follow.
The deadline is September 28, 2023
Since we have chosen to have a smaller wedding, we’ve chosen to limit our guest list to 18-year-olds and over, and we hope you understand. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help.
We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed under your Party Name on our website. If you have any questions, please reach out.”
No we do not but we have a hotel recommendation listed on our invitations.
We are registered a few places, you can find the details on our Registry page (link). We also have added a few different options like a Honeymoon fund and a Family Fund. Your presence is more than enough for us as a gift.
We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to take as many photos as they would like.
As some of you may be aware, in most venues and formal events, there is a deadline to turn in guest names and information for a lot of reasons such as - Place setting / Seat Accommodations - Food and Beverages - Food Allergies preparations So if you missed the deadline (September 28, 2023) we kindly ask to please let Aide or William sometime close to that date as possible to be able to accommodate you.
Please feel free to email Aide or William to let us know of any allergies or dietary restrictions. We would love to accommodate everyone. Aides Email: aide_janeth@live.com Williams Email: wchubbard@gmail.com
