Dress Code?

Black-Tie-Optional Men: Tuxedo or dark suit with tie or bow tie; dress shoes. Women: Floor-length gown, formal midi dress, or elegant cocktail dress

Are children allowed?

Answer

Due to capacity limits, the only children at our wedding are those in the wedding party. All other guests invited will be 21+. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share in our special day.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We are excited to celebrate with our close friends and family! Due to space limitations, we are unable to accommodate plus-ones unless they are specifically named on your wedding invitation.

I am driving to the ceremony/reception, where can I park?

Answer

The ceremony and reception locations both have large parking lots to accommodate guests who are driving. If you are staying at the Westin Chicago North Shore Hotel, you may park in their lot and utilize their shuttle service to and from the reception.

Will there be any complimentary shuttle services?

Answer

There will be a complimentary shuttle service between the Westin Chicago North Shore Hotel and Chevy Chase Country Club. Guests will otherwise need to coordinate their own transportation to and from the ceremony at Sts. Faith Hope & Charity Church.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM. We kindly ask that you please arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow time to park and be seated.

Will there be an open bar at the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

Yes!

What should I do after the ceremony, before cocktail hour begins?

Answer

We anticipate the ceremony to end at 3:30 PM. Cocktail hour begins at 5:30 PM. Immediate family and the wedding party will be utilizing this time to take photos, thank you very much for your patience. We will be very excited to greet you all at cocktail hour. We will provide a list of bars and restaurants in the area for you to browse in the 'Things To Do' tab.
