Temperature during this time of year is a high of 69 and a low of 40. We have no idea what the weather will be AND in Colorado, it's usually sunny during the day (which usually feels hotter than it actually is) and temperatures really drop at night (sometimes feeling colder than it actually is). It's rare that it snows during this time of year AND it has happened. Basically lots of layers! We will send out more updated weather information when we get closer.
Wedding ceremony: “mountain cocktail”. What that means to us is that you wear attire that feels fancy to you, and is also comfortable to wear on a Colorado Fall evening. Make sure that you have footwear that is comfortable to wear on well-graded gravel paths and dancing into the evening. Jackets are encouraged, if only for the sake of layering, and dresses of any length are welcome. Mariah encourages color and a sense of whimsy. Friday welcome dinner: classy casual. Vague we know, but casual is a term that varies drastically from place to place. If you are coming from a mountain town, wear something that feels a bit dressy, if you are living in a coastal city, maybe lean more casual than you think. Jeans are okay, but athleisure is not. Rest of the weekend: comfortable clothes for a range of activities from more chill hanging to outdoor athletic endeavors.
