Matron of Honor
Emily got married 2 years ago in Vermont, at which Maria was the MOH. This description box isn't big enough to encompass how much Emily means to Maria, so refer back to her MOH speech at Emily's wedding for more details. If you weren't at said wedding, trust that she means the world.
Maid of Honor
Maria's step-sister and one of the biggest blessings in her life. A best friend from the moment we met. There is no one else Maria would rather traipse around Europe with. If you see her at the wedding, ask about the golden shots we took in Austria.
Best Man
From bunk beds to best man, Grayson has been there every step of the way and I'm honored to call him my brother. He's a man of everchanging hobbies, so while there's any number of topics you could talk with him about come October, his golf game and Bronco are a safe bet.
Groomsman
One of Aidan’s best friends and one of the most genuine, thoughtful people you’ll ever meet. He’s the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He's always down for a fun night and is usually the one leading it.
Bridesmaid
Maria's best friend, co-worker, twin flame, ex-roommate, and cat aunt. With so many sisters, you wouldn't think there was another woman who could mean so much to Maria, yet here is Lizzy. My life got exponentially better when you entered it.
Groomsman
Jack is likely the most authentic person you'll ever meet. It would take more characters than are available here to describe Jack fully, but if a picture is worth a thousand words, then I imagine seeing him on the dance floor will be worth at least a million.
Bridesmaid
Aidan's younger sister, and arguably the best Hackett. Kate has the biggest heart and an infectious sense of humor. She’s been such a bright and supportive presence throughout our relationship, and I’m so lucky to soon call her my sister.
Groomsman
I'm proud to say that Austin is not only Maria's older brother, but a good friend of mine as well. Austin is laid back and enjoys the finer things in life. In fact, once the dance floor gets going, you'll most likely find him outside with a cigar in one hand and an old fashion in the other.
Bridesmaid
Maria and Shresta rode to school together almost every day of senior year, as a result, they were late more often than they were on time. Those few minutes taken from 1st period were always worth it; they became our time to laugh, vent, and build the kind of friendship that has lasted beyond high school.
Groomsman
Cole and Aidan technically met way back in 'baby group' but really became friends in high school. Cole is a friend that will always have you trying new things and likes to seek out adventure in any form it can be found... including but not limited to trespassing from time to time.
Bridesmaid
Fun fact: Maria, Courtney, Shresta, and Lizzy all became friends through a jewelry-making class junior year! When Courtney and I both went through breakups around the same time, we leaned on each other and turned it into a beautiful friendship built on laughter, resilience, and endless support.
Groomsman
Maria's youngest sibling and yet often the one who keeps the rest of the family in check, Vinnie is a big fan of theme parks, live music, and a good vocal stim with Maria. He’ll be a fresh high school senior by wedding day, so if you see him, be sure to check in on his college application progress... he’s just dying to talk about it.
Bridesmaid
Frisbee and soccer star. Maria's roommate post grad and the person who introduced her to Studio Ghibli movies and possibly the best fantasy book series. I am thankful we got to navigate this change of season side by side
Groomsman
Joey and Max go way back and Jo was the one who introduced us to each other. Max is someone you can always go to if you need advice, a good song recommendation from any genre, or if you want to get crossed up. In many ways, he's kind of like the white LeBron
