We're Getting Married!

We met at a bar in Tahoe, when Aidan bet that my friend would beat me in our current game of Battleship. When I (inevitably) won, I tracked him down to buy me a drink. The next day I flew to Europe, but I couldn't stop thinking about him. As soon as I got back, he asked if he could cook me dinner, and we haven't really been apart since.

Aidan waited until we were in one of my favorite places on Earth, Washington Island. (Which will be part of our wedding!) After a day of swimming, he stopped at a small beach on the way home to "look around". I was looking at the water and turned back to him as he popped the question! We're so excited to be able to share in the celebration with you in a place that means so much to us and our journey.
