Cerveseria Vaso de Oro
Our restaurant / tapas bar of confidence in Barcelona. A family-run restaurant in the heart of the old fishing quarter whose simple recipes have been perfected over several generations of management. The steak and foie or tuna a la plancha dishes are to die for. The beer is also all made in-house (ask for a "flauta" to go with your meal)! --- El nostre restaurant/taperia de referència a Barcelona. Un restaurant familiar al cor de l’antic barri de pescadors, on les receptes senzilles s’han perfeccionat al llarg de diverses generacions al capdavant. Els plats de filet amb foie o de tonyina a la planxa són excel·lents. La cervesa també és d’elaboració pròpia (demaneu una «flauta» per acompanyar el vostre àpat)!
Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey
Montserrat is one of Catalonia's most sacred places - and is the namesake of the mother of the bride! A short drive from the city, Santa Maria de Montserrat is a serene, stunning abbey nestled deep in a spectacular mountain range. It pairs well as a day trip with a big lunch at Masia Can Font at the base of the mountain (the ribeye is incredible). --- Montserrat és un dels llocs més sagrats de Catalunya — i dona nom a la mare de la núvia! A poca distància amb cotxe de la ciutat, Santa Maria de Montserrat és una abadia serena i impressionant, encaixada al cor d’una serralada espectacular. És ideal com a excursió d’un dia, combinada amb un bon dinar a la Masia Can Font, al peu de la muntanya (l’entrecot és increïble).
Ébano Restaurant
We celebrated our four-year anniversary and the first week of our new life in Spain together at Ebano, a very elegant restaurant with very tasty food in the very pretty Bellaterra neighborhood. You'll need a reservation, but if you're looking for something more upscale Ebano is a must. --- Vam celebrar el nostre quart aniversari i la primera setmana de la nostra nova vida a Espanya a l’Ebano, un restaurant molt elegant amb menjar molt saborós, situat al preciós barri de Bellaterra. Cal fer reserva, però si busqueu alguna cosa més sofisticada, l’Ebano és imprescindible.
Menorca
Gorgeous beaches, stellar restaurants, and good cheese and sausage. What's not to like? Menorca is the least touristy of the Balearic Islands (Mayorca, Ibiza, Menorca, Formentera) and has a deep personal connection for Gala as she's gone every summer since birth. The island is a quick 30-minute plane ride away from Barcelona and is a fantastic destination for anybody traveling a bit longer in Spain. Menorca és la menys turística de les Illes Balears (Mallorca, Eivissa, Menorca, Formentera) i té un vincle molt especial per a la Gala, ja que hi va cada estiu des que va néixer. L’illa és a només 30 minuts d’avió de Barcelona i és una destinació fantàstica per a qui viatgi una mica més temps per Espanya. Si voleu recomanacions sobre què fer i on allotjar-vos, escriviu-nos!

The Port Olimpic, and the beach flanking it, is one of our favorite spots to eat and walk around. Go for a stroll along the beach or dine in style at El Cangrejo Loco for great seafood with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean. --- El Port Olímpic, i la platja que l’envolta, és un dels nostres llocs preferits per menjar i passejar. Feu una volta pel passeig marítim o sopar amb estil a El Cangrejo Loco, on trobareu marisc excel·lent amb una vista preciosa del Mediterrani.
