FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The Mass is the highest act of worship, and as such, the attire of all guests should reflect an attitude of reverence and respect for God and His house. Men should wear at least dress shoes, slacks, a collared shirt, and a tie. Women should wear dresses or skirts that are modest and appropriate for worship. Specific guidelines are as follows: 1. All dress hems must be at least to the knee. Any slits in the dress may not come above the knee. 2. Please refrain from low-cut dresses that reveal cleavage. 3. Please cover your shoulders with either sleeves, a shawl, or a jacket. Sheer coverings are not acceptable. Veils do not count as shoulder coverings, but are most welcome! 4. No completely open backs.

Question

What is your policy on "plus ones"?

Answer

While we would love to have as many people as possible at our wedding, we are unable to accommodate additional guests. Please refrain from bringing anyone other than those specifically named in the RSVP list.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely, provided they are named on the RSVP list.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We suggest arriving about half an hour before the ceremony. This allows the ushers ample time to seat everyone, and also ensures that you are able to prepare yourself to participate fully in the Mass.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are number of hotels in the Fort Mill/Indian Land area. Please check the Travel section of the website for a list of hotel suggestions.
