What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4:30. Please arrive by 4:15. There may be roadwork between Tahoe City and Gar Woods causing alternating one-way traffic. Please check google maps and give yourself a few extra minutes.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Wear what you feel best in! We'll be in cocktail attire. Heads up for your footwear ladies, the ceremony is on a lawn.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately we have a very limited venue so we can't have everyone there that we'd like ): Only named people on your invite can attend the wedding.

Is there parking for the wedding?

Answer

Gar Woods has a large parking lot and you can leave cars overnight. There is also plenty of street parking nearby.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Friday evening we will have welcome drinks at 7:00pm at Za's Lakefront in Tahoe City.

How will I get home from the wedding? Can I uber?

Answer

Ubers are a little unreliable in Tahoe but have been getting more frequent; wait times and availability can vary. TART (Tahoe Area Regional Transit) is a free, public ride-share app, like Uber. Download the TART Connect app. We will also have a shuttle service taking guests back to St Francis area and Tahoe City at 11pm when the wedding ends.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Unfortunately due to very limited space, we can't have the kiddos we love attend the wedding.

Where should I leave my dinner order?

Answer

No need to let us know now! Gar Woods is a restaurant so waiters will take your order after you're seated. The menu will have several options, including a vegetarian option.

I have a food allergy, what should I do?

Answer

Please include your food allergy needs in the RSVP. We will let Gar Woods know and they're happy to accommodate.

Where should I stay?

Answer

The bride and groom are staying at St Francis near Tahoe City and invite you to stay nearby! See the 'Travel' tab on our website for lodging recommendations and information.

Is there an event Sunday?

Answer

No, nothing official. But Aidan and Corinne will be hanging out at the beach at St Francis so feel free to stop by on your way out!

Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside on the lawn. At 6pm we'll move indoors for dinner, dancing and fun!

Is there an after party?

Answer

Unofficial after party downstairs at Gar Woods! After the wedding ends, the bar downstairs will stay open til around 1am. We'll have a shuttle available to take folks back to St Francis area and Tahoe City until then!
