Driving Directions

Mount Ida Farm is located half an hour from the hotel on windy back-country roads. We encourage our guests to use the provided bus transportation; however, if you must drive, you can find the address of the ceremony site on the "Schedule" tab. Plan for extra driving time to find the Gazebo ceremony site, as it is located almost a mile past the Event Barn reception site. The map above illustrates the relationship between the Gate Entrance, Event Barn, and Gazebo.

Omni Charlottesville Hotel

We have a block of rooms available starting at $249/night. This is where Post Toast Welcome and Farewell Brunch will be held, as well as bus transportation departure for the wedding. There is a limited amount of parking at The Omni; guests staying at a different hotel are encouraged to Uber to The Omni to take advantage of the provided bus transportation.

Bus transportation to and from The Omni will be provided for all guests. Buses will depart the hotel at 2:40, 2:50, and 3:00 PM. Buses will depart the reception at 10:00 PM. Early departure vans will be available at 8:50 and 9:20 PM. There is a limited amount of parking at The Omni; guests staying at a different hotel are encouraged to Uber to The Omni to take advantage of the provided bus transportation.

Flight

Charlottesville-Albermarle Airport

This is the closest airport to the Omni Hotel, but you could also fly into Richmond International (about an hour 20 away from the Omni). The Charlottesville Airport is roughly a 20 minute drive to the Omni.

Richmond airport is about an hour and a half away from Charlottesville! A second option for an airport--more flights in-and-out of RIC than CHO!

We do not have a block of rooms here, but this hotel is located very close to the Omni! Another option for guests to stay right on West Main Street!

This hotel is another option, however, it is a drive to the Omni (about 8 min) and about 33 minutes to Mount Ida. We do not have a block of rooms here either.
