Flight
Tweed New Haven Airport is the closest airport to New Haven. It's on the smaller side, but continues to add more flights from additional cities. We imagine by September 2018 it will be a suitable option for many of our guests.
Flight
Bradley International Airport is an hour northeast of St. Mary's. There are many limo and shuttle services, including Uber (which costs about $60-80 to get to New Haven). If you're staying in downtown New Haven, we don't recommend renting a car (it's a very walkable city).
Hotel
Conveniently located within walking distance of both St. Mary's and the Q Club, the Omni New Haven has offered rooms for $209 per night. Please book by August 22! After this, the remaining rooms will be released back to the public.
Train
If you're coming from New York, take Metro North all the way to New Haven! From there, it's a 10 minute walk to downtown. However, if you're travelling with luggage or are not used to the city, we recommend taking an Uber or, if you're feeling ambitious, the city bus (all for your safety and convenience, the train station lies in an area of New Haven that may be rougher than you're used to).
Hotel
AirBNB is a less expensive option that allows you to stay in someone else's entire home or even rent a room within their house. Depending on your distance and privacy preferences, you can pay as low as $40 per night (based on a 12/16/17 search of New Haven's AirBNB availability from 9/21-9/23/18). Additionally, if you've never used AirBNB and you spend a certain amount, you can use the link below and have $40 off your first booking.
Hotel
Conveniently located within walking distance of both St. Mary's and the Q Club, the Study at Yale has offered rooms at $219 per night. Please book by August 22! After that, the rooms will be released back into the public.
Hotel
Conveniently located within walking distance of both St. Mary's and the Q Club, the Courtyard has offered rooms between $179-189 per night. Please book by August 22! After that, the rooms will be released back into the public.
Travel Note
If you're planning on staying in downtown New Haven, you'll probably save some money by taking Uber rather than renting a car. New Haven is a very walkable city and parking can be expensive. If you haven't tried Uber yet, give it a shot: it tends to be less expensive than taking a taxi.
